A big thank you to Alexis and Stephanie for coming to Perth last week and visiting many of our eBee customers. A great trip down to Donnybrook on a beautiful day to visit Todd and Carmel from Griffin Spatial who were our first eBee RTK customer and have pioneered the workflow for use with the R10. We had some very successful eBee RTK flights down on their farm using both Trimble R10 and the VRS system with our vertical checks coming in extremely close. This was our most successful VRS flight and we are very happy that the eBee RTK is now going to be even easier to use in South West WA to get excellent results.
HL joins force with South West Institue of Technology’s survey students in Bunbury to get 6 students Remote Pilot Certification during their final year mid semester holidays. Here’s what survey lecturer Carmel Griffin had to say Just a quick email to thank you for organising and arranging a fantastic RPAS training course with Ross for our Diploma students. With Surveying quality UAV’s becoming so predominant and now mainstream in the surveying field it important that our students are trained, competent and up-to-date in the latest technology. The course provided not only the theory but also practical training to acquire nationally recognised and required CASA accreditation. My thanks also goes to Rob for spending two days “flying and processing” with the students. Completing a task from flying to processing provided valuable insight with establishing them with great techniques for completing surveys with UAV’s. The students who completed the RPAS training were very happy with the quality, structure and content and most enthusiastic about the practical component of training. Kind regards, Carmel Carmel Griffin Lecturer Surveying
